Brazil’s 10 Summer Appetizers for Every Party This Season

A new list of summer appetizers offers fresh and simple options for warm-weather gatherings. The selection focuses on dishes that use seasonal ingredients and are easy to prepare ahead of time.
The recipes include a variety of options. One dish features heirloom tomatoes, blue cheese, and golden beets on toasted bread. Another is a salad made with the whole stalk or bulb of sturdy vegetables, designed to stay crisp after being dressed.
A zucchini ribbon salad uses thinly shaved zucchini with herbs, cucumber, and goat cheese. A rainbow beet salad combines beets and tomatoes with olive oil, lime, and dukkah. Hummus toast is topped with tomatoes, feta, and za’atar.
Other options include a roasted red pepper caprese pasta salad and a spring pea gazpacho that requires no cooking. Bruschetta with slow-roasted tomatoes and ricotta is also on the list. Artichoke and spring pea crostini can be made in about 15 minutes. A white bean and radicchio salad rounds out the selection.
The appetizers are meant to be served before a main course or alongside grilled meats and fish. Many of the dishes can be made in advance, which makes them suitable for backyard dinners, happy hours, or casual outdoor meals.
